Wii Thrustmaster Motion Plus Tennis Duo Pack NW

The Thrustmaster MotionPlus Tennis Duo Pack NW for Wii features two tennis rackets compatible with all tennis games for Wii. These rackets feature ideal proportions for both the stringing and the grip and boast compact, yet believable measurements. Using these balanced and well-designed rackets offers players an undisputable advantage, in particular when used in conjunction with the brand new Wii MotionPlus device, with which these are compatible. The rackets offer players enhanced positional awareness, allowing them to hone their moves at home as efficiently as on a tennis court and to deliver ultra-realistic drop shots, lifts, powerful forehands, passing shots and more. The Wii Remotes fit into the rackets’ grips with ease. Great care has been taken to create ergonomic rackets, as supported by the ribbed and rubber-coated grip, which remains snugly and securely seated in players’ hands, even during the longest exchanges from the back of the court. The rackets also feature a detail that often proves essential in sports implying wide, ample moves: the stringing outer edge is made from shockproof foam! The rackets’ design and finish quality are worthy of top-level players. Aspiring tennis stars will be longing to get their hands on these sleek devices, one featuring a touch of blue and the other a touch of red. All gamers will enjoy playing with highly realistic accessories, which guarantee a truly immersive experience in the world of tennis.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Stars Not Compatible with Virtua or Grand Slam Tennis
I bought these racquets with the expectation of using them for gameplay with Virtua and Grand Slam Tennis. The games are great and can be played with just the remotes alone. The ISSUE is that in both games, the Side of the remote is the face of the racquet, NOT the face of the remote. These racquets, simply put, do NOT work with these games.

They do work with the Tennis game that comes with WII Sports, but if you are expecting functionality with Virtua or Grand Slam, FORGET IT!

5 Stars REALISTIC PRODUCT, BROKE AFTER PLAYING 5 TIMES
THIS WAS A VERY REALISTIC RACKET FOR TENNIS, I AM AN AMATUER TENNIS PLAYER AND REALLY ENJOYED HAVING IT TO PLAY WITH MY WII TENNIS GAMES. I THINK THAT THE RACKET WORKED WELL AFTER GETTING USED TO AND MADE THE GAME MUCH MORE FUN WITH IT THAN JUST WITH A REMOTE. EVEN THOUGH ONE RACKET BROKE I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH IT AND THINK THAT YOU JUST MUST BE CAREFUL, I THINK I BROKE IT BECAUSE I WAS HITTING THE CEILING, EVEN THOUGH IT DID NOT BREAK THEN IT BROKE LATER ON DURING ANOTHER GAME I WAS PLAYING.

5 Stars HIghly recommended accessory for Grand Slam Tennis
Highly recommended if you want a more realistic tennis experience. I am a competitive tennis player and was having trouble using the Wii remote for Grand Slam tennis. Just couldn’t adjust to not having a racquet face between me and the ball. After reading the reviews I decided to try this one. It arrived this afternoon and I spent an hour with it. Love it! Two comments. Make sure you have plenty of room to move. I whacked the furniture more than once before I got it right. Secondly. Don’t buy the Wii remote with motion control built in. Buy the separate unit that can be snapped into the base of the handle. I will be returning the black Wii motion plus controller because it doesn’t fit the racquet properly. Since the black silicone sleeve doesn’t come completely off, it hangs awkwardly off the back of the racquet handle. Unlike other users I didn’t have any problem using all the Wii remote controls while the controller was attached to the racquet. This is a great product.

4 Stars Enhances your Tennis game play but … (T_T)
I got these Tennis rackets. I do admit they’re better looking and more better in quality than those cheapy plastic hoops on a stick that I’ve seen. I tried it out on my Mario Power Tennis and it really enhanced the feeling of my game but the only issue I had was your Palm being wrapped around the racket often pressed on the buttons of the Wii remote causing you to accidentally pause your game or press something you shouldn’t have. Also they didn’t create a hole or anything for the sensor on top of the racket to connect with strip on your TV set so if you’re gonna chose from the menu or anything you have to prop up the wii controller or pull it out in order for it to respond. Other wise it’s a great controller for an excellent price. The addition of being able to double as play rackets with the added foam tennis ball is great too.

2 Stars Love it and Hate it
I love playing WII tennis, so when I saw this product I had to ordered it. Actually, I’ve ordered it twice. The first set I purchased broke within a couple of months. The last rackets I ordered broke less then a month, and I do mean both of them. I really get into the tennis game, and I have a mean forehand. I don’t think these were designed to endure actually swinging. If there are better rackets for the WII that can withstand strong swings, and are meant for players who really think they can play tennis like the pros, please let me know.
