4 Stars Fun for the cost
I purchased this for my senior aged father who used to be an avid bowler on many leagues over the years. I bought it for the entertainment value as his favorite game that came with the Wii system is the bowling game. I also purchased a more real life bowling game to go with it.
Pros: It’s better than using the Wii remote as it simulates actual bowling.
Cons: It’s a pain to take off the plastic sleeve on the Wii remote.
The ball is a lot lighter than an actual bowling ball, but this may not necessarily be a con.
Overall: It is worth the entertainment value for an avid bowler considering the price.

This is great in theory but just ok to use. It feels slightly awkward to hold and my wrist aches more than when I use the Wii controller by itself.

If you want the feel of real bowling, this is for you.
But if you have gotten used to using just the controller, skip buying this.
It will seem uncomfortable to hold the button and use the ball.
Plus, where do you store 2 of these?
Wii can be fun and challanging. But do we need all the accessories?
Miniature golf clubs? Tennis racquet? My ceilings are too low for
all these things.

I purchased the bowling ball for the Wii. Frankly, it is a big piece of plastic, for which I didn’t care much. The ball is cumbersome to get ready for the game, especially getting the wii remote inside of it properly so the ball closes. Overall, I am not certain that this item is worth the price I paid for it.
1 Stars Looked like fun, BUT…
I bought this for my dad for christmas. He really liked the idea behind it until my 10 year old tried it out. The controls didn’t work well in the ball and the worst was that even tho he had the strap on his wrist it slipped off his hand and hit the TV. Not good. I was going to send it back but missed the return window.
